CAG Group Meets to Evaluate Recommendations

The Corridor H Citizens Action Group (CAG) met on Tuesday, August 29, 2000 at the Davis Town Hall to determine what additional information they should provide. The group determined that they are satisfied with the recommendations they have already submitted to the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) and decided to draft an additional letter to the WVDOH requesting assistance in obtaining funding for an overall needs study for Tucker County.

The group also chose not to schedule any upcoming meetings until the WVDOH Public Informational Meetings have been set for Davis/Thomas, which should be later this fall. Assistant to the Secretary of Transportation Michael Miano said, "The CAG was set up in response to the Corridor H settlement agreement, and the members have taken their role seriously. They have provided pertinent information to the WVDOH and their suggestions will be taken into consideration while planning this road."
