Moorefield Construction Update - April 2003
The following is a photo tour of the Moorefield section of the Corridor H project. Keep checking this web site for future construction updates.
| A view of Dick Corporation's Clifford Hollow Bridge. Individuals are seen "walking the beams" to survey the bridge's steel beams. They are checking the tenth points to check beam deflections and determine fill points for the concrete deck. This process must be done across the entire bridge, which is 1565 feet in length, before the concrete deck can be poured. |

A gentleman is seen removing bolts from the bridge's temporary steel girders. The temporary girders were in place to help manage the bridge's movement and shifting as the steel beams were launched and secured in place. |

| This crane is removing rollers that were used in the launching of the bridge. It is also assisting in the removal of the temporary steel girders. Once the bolts are removed from the girders, the crane lowers the girders to the ground. |
