WVDOH ANNOUNCES LETTING OF
CORRIDOR H PROJECT

Charleston, W.Va. – The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) today announced it will receive bids until 10 a.m. December 11 for a project continuing the construction of Corridor H.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled November 27 at 1 p.m. in the WVDOH's office at Building Five, Room A-122, 1900 Kanawha Boulevard East, Charleston, W. Va., 25305-0430.

This project, involving the construction of 1.45 miles of four-lane roadway on WV 55 and 259 in Hardy County, will include the construction of two bridges (bridge 4271 and bridge 4272).

"Corridor H is progressing with each new project bid. We are working toward our ultimate goal of completing this highway for the safety of motorists. I am very pleased that we are making strides to make Corridor H a reality," said State Highway Engineer Joe Deneault.
