WVDOH Meets with Corridor H Contractors
to Discuss Progress
Representatives from the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) met with Corridor H contractors and suppliers January 11 at the South Branch Inn in Moorefield, W.Va. to discuss the progress of Corridor H projects in the area.

The group's discussion focused on Corridor H projects and the aggregate and paving materials needed to complete them.

"This is the first meeting of this type we have organized on Corridor H," State Highway Engineer Joe Deneault said. "We invited the contractors, Corridor H project engineers and suppliers to sit down together and discuss the progress of each job. Our goal was to help coordinate when the contractors will need specific aggregate and paving materials to complete their projects."

Deneault continued, "This type of planning allows us to ensure contractors have the supplies they need, when they need them. This also allows suppliers to be prepared to meet contractors' demands. Together, we are working to keep Corridor H construction on track."

State Highway Engineer Joe Deneault responds to a contractor's question regarding aggregate supplies. Deputy State Highway Engineer Randy Epperly directs attention to a project along the Corridor H route.

Contractors discuss project details after the meeting.
