Wardensville CIT Hosts Final Community Input Meeting and Barbecue Picnic
Residents joined the Corridor H Community Improvement Team (CIT) for the final community input meeting and barbecue picnic June 16 at the Wardensville Town Park.
The CIT last met April 24 to review the enhancement projects community members selected through a vote at the March 24 meeting.
Attendees of this final meeting were asked to “come and enjoy good food, great friends and a million-dollar future.” Renditions of the selected enhancement projects were displayed at the barbecue picnic.
The next step for the CIT is the completion of a recommended projects report based upon the coordination of the CIT with representatives from Whitney, Bailey, Cox and Magnani, the consultant hired as the facilitator, and the West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH). Whitney, Bailey, Cox and Magnani will complete the report in the summer of 2001. The report will be presented to the WVDOH upon review by Wardensville city officials.
