Wardensville Enhancement Fund Group
Holds Second Planning Meeting
In accordance with the Corridor H Settlement Agreement reached earlier this year, the Community Planning Workshop Transportation Enhancement Program continued their series of meetings on Friday, July 25, 2000 in Wardensville to determine how an allotment of $1 million should be spent to help beautify the city of Wardensville.

Pat Ford, designated mediator for the committee, explained that the purpose of the second meeting was to identify and understand the city boundaries in which the money should be spent. As a consensus, the committee agreed that the borders for the enhancement project should include all of the following:
  • Everything within the town limits of Wardensville

  • A local park outside the town limits

  • The road that connects the park to the town of Wardensville

  • All gateways to the town
